Artisanal Pechuga Expression | Wild Agave Blend | Savory Fruit & Spice

Available now at Liquor Boutique

Bozal Pechuga Joven is a festive, limited-edition mezcal made with a special pechuga (chicken breast) infusion tradition. Crafted from a wild blend of Espadín, Ensamble, and Cuishe agaves, roasted underground and distilled in copper stills, this mezcal is gently “fed” with a suspended chicken breast along with seasonal fruits and aromatic spices during its third distillation. Bottled at about 45% ABV, it delivers a bright, savory, and uniquely aromatic experience.

Tasting Notes:

  • Color: Clear joven spirit with lilting amber reflections

  • Nose: Savory chicken stock warmth, fresh pear, orange blossom, clove, and cinnamon

  • Palate: Rich agave core layered with roasted fruit, mild umami, honey, and baking spice

  • Finish: Long, warming, and savory-sweet—balanced between fruit, spice, and delicate smoke

Why Buy Bozal Pechuga Joven Mezcal:

  • Traditional pechuga infusion, a festive and ceremonial method

  • Blend of wild agaves for layered complexity and terroir expression

  • Unique savory–sweet flavor experience—greater than typical joven mezcal

  • Perfect for special occasions or gifting—rich, memorable, and artisan-made

  • Bottled elegantly, reflecting its rarity and craft lineage

How to Enjoy:
Serve neat or with a large ice cube to truly appreciate its savory spice, fruit, and agave interplay. Ideal for unique cocktails—try a twist on a Penicillin (mezcal, honey-ginger syrup, lemon) or serve alongside rich tapas like mole or citrus-spiced chicken.
